Cordage & basketry weaving

Weaving brings our whole emotional and physical state into a new time, we meet the pace of Nature when we weave with wild plants. Learning the skills of basket weaving can connect us with the empowered and relational states many of our ancestors would have felt. It enables us to believe that wherever we are, we're able to find belonging and notice our own inner resourcefulness by being connected to these plants. Gather the skills and confidence in exploring wild plants as weaving materials and transform them into sweet medicine baskets you can weave for yourself or as gifts.

We'll have a focus on learning corded weaving techniques to weave bags traditionally used to gather medicine in the wild, as well as knotless netted basketry to create different shapes and forms.
