COME TOGETHER
GATHER-IN

OUR PROGRAMMES &
UPCOMING EVENTS

Imagine…

Discovering plants you walk past everyday are actually ancient weaving plant fibres. Learning how to harvest, process and weave your very own basket from its fibres.

Imagine…

Learning weaving techniques passed down from indigenous communities, connecting to Nature, cultures and the people around you through the art of basket weaving.

Imagine…

Adopting a new pace, the pace of basket weaving, where the only thing your basket needs to hold is your attention and presence. T

This is more than just a skills based weaving workshop. This is a participation in restoration & repair of community culture through the art of weaving. This space welcomes the vast diversities of who you are and shares the stories and wisdom of indigenous weavers, of which these traditional practices of weaving arise from.

WEAVING FOR THE WANDERERS

A regular women's weaving circle celebrating a global village, for those who carry more than one heritage, we weave our baskets and cultures together.

WEAVING A VILLAGE

An open circle for all women who wish to gather and learn and practice wild basketry weaving and remember kinship.

WILD CAMP & WEAVING

Immerse in a multi-day and night weaving programme where we share in foraging wild plant fibres, and deepen our basket weaving skills among lived community.

YOUR COMMITMENT

These gatherings are in service to rebuilding a meaningful way of embodying community through the Way of Weaving. This is why are they not offered as just a one-off workshop. Part of the ask will be of being mindful you're able to join for the set weekly gatherings in the 3-week cycles to create safety and familiarity for the group.

In exchange for these gatherings that are being offered on a sliding scale, I humbly ask for your care and thoughtfulness for the range in which you're able to give so we can honour the teachings imparted by the indigenous master weavers as well as enabling these intimate group gatherings to continue while supporting those who may not have as much to give.

No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
