HERMES & KEMBALI

MON 14TH NOV 2022

This proposed design of the day hopes to invite in plenty of space, safety, playfulness and time for reflection through creativity, land-based art, community building and practicing Earth Skills.

Kembali will offer experiences in learning how to bring about Fire without matches or lighters, following the way our ancestors would have naturally found ways to make Fire!

We will also offer experiences in learning about local plant fibres, learning which plants we can make rope, cordage and jewelry from. The group will then be invited to connect with their hands through this ancient art form as we share stories as women in a safe circle.

Cooking together will be an integral part of the day, preparing food together can be seen and understood as a language of care and community, bringing together conversation, communication & connection through the simple act of preparing a meal and tending a shared Fire together.

The day will also offer various Nature Connection practices that are simple yet profound in the way they can draw our awareness back to our senses and surroundings.
