“To be whole, to be complete. Wildness reminds us what it means to be human – what we are connected to, rather than what we are separated from”

– Terry Tempest Williams

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

This is more than just learning how to Weave  - You will be guided through various weaving techniques and the plants in which we can play with, though this is so much more than that. This experience is a pathway to connecting to our landscapes in a felt sense. There is no clear instructional recipe of how this looks, but its an invitation to step into co-creating this experience that offers repair for a sense of disconnection we may have experienced from the Land, ourselves and community, through the art of weaving.

Location & Parking  - The exact location in Nailsworth will be provided after confirmation of registration for the immersion. Parking will be available by arrangement. The site we will be weaving on, unfortunately, does not have disability access.

Food - A nourishing vegetarian meal will be provided for each day of our time weaving together. The meal itself will be enough to fill our bellies, though we will be inviting participants into a shared practice of communal food sharing by bringing a small, light dish or snack of your voice, pot luck style!
The meals for each day will be announced to you upon registration so you can decide what accompanying dish you'd like to bring.
We'd suggest simple foods such as fruit, bread, dips, or something sweet.
